Designed by Frank at Knives By Hand

The Paladin Bowie was born out of wanting more of a light weight Gentleman’s Bowie, one that looked nicer on the belt , but still had to be able be used if called upon.

The Steel if 52100 ball bearing steel.  The Horse Pommel is German silver which is a mixture of  Tin, Zinc and Copper to give it a patina.   The handle is a full tang Coffin handle. as was traditional.  Those that were trained in knife fighting would know the origins of this style of handle.

The sheath is a collaboration between Danny Combs and Nikki (Longhorn Leather Colorado)   .  The Horse Head Concho was actually found in a crate in Hollywood. They were used on a 1950 TV Show known as Have Gun Will Travel and the main character name was Paladin. His symbol was the Horse Head.  I believe this is a Bowie that he would carry.
